Glenda M. Stinson

Executive Director

Glenda M. Stinson leads CORE Business Academy with a strong commitment to advancing education, workforce readiness, and community impact. With over twenty years of experience in supplier diversity, business development, and strategic partnerships, she brings deep expertise in elevating small and diverse businesses across corporate, government, and educational sectors.


In addition to her role at CORE, she is the President & CEO of S.E.A.T. Business Development Group, where she guides high-impact consulting initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and entrepreneurial organizations. Her leadership experience includes more than a decade with Georgia Power | Southern Company, where she directed statewide development programs and strengthened relationships with advocacy and community partners.


Mrs. Stinson’s vision, integrity, and dedication guide the direction of CORE and set the tone for the Board of Directors as they work together to empower individuals, families, and organizations through accessible learning and meaningful opportunity.

Chuck Hall

Chuck Hall serves on the CORE Business Academy Board, bringing more than 30 years of leadership, coaching, and organizational development experience. As an executive coach and team dynamics consultant, Chuck has advised leaders across technology, financial services, and diverse business sectors. His background includes leadership roles at GE, Prudential Insurance, and Lincoln Financial Group before launching his own consulting practice in 2007.


Chuck holds a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from Penn State. He is also a Certified Peer Specialist for Mental Health and a strong advocate for psychological safety, DEIB, and neurodiversity in the workplace.

Chuck lives in Conyers with his wife, Amy, and enjoys time with their children and granddaughter.

Dr. Kia James, PhD.

Dr. Kia James brings extensive experience in youth development, nonprofit leadership, and organizational strategy to the CORE Business Academy Board. She has led major initiatives across education and nonprofit sectors, including senior roles with SisterLove, Inc. and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, where she managed multimillion dollar grants and strengthened operational systems.


Dr. James holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Mercer University and is dedicated to advancing equitable opportunities and strong program outcomes for the communities she serves.

Rev. Christopher M. Waller

Rev. Christopher M. Waller is a respected pastor, educator, and community leader who brings strong experience in organizational leadership and community engagement to the CORE Business Academy Board. He currently serves as Pastor of Shy Temple CME Church in Atlanta, where he is known for his commitment to teaching, service, and building impactful community partnerships.


Throughout his ministry, Rev. Waller has led multiple congregations across Georgia and served in key leadership roles within the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, including district and episcopal-level appointments. His background in education, adult learning, and administration supported by advanced degrees from Paine College, Cambridge College, Jacksonville State University, and Lincoln Memorial University strengthens his ability to support CORE’s mission of empowerment and capacity building.

Dr. Tiffany Halsell, PhD, PCC

Dr. Tiffany Halsell is a higher education professional and student success advocate with extensive experience supporting first-generation, neurodivergent, and underrepresented students at The Ohio State University. She specializes in holistic coaching, academic support, and building partnerships that strengthen student engagement and achievement.


She holds a Ph.D. in Education and Human Ecology, a master’s degree in Executive Human Resource Development, and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Dr. Halsell brings a strong commitment to empowerment, equity, and leadership development to the CORE Business Academy Board.
